  • Student Support at Monroe College

    Each student is assigned a counselor based on his/her schedule and major. The purpose of the Student Services staff is to ensure that every student has an ideal college experience. Counselors and support staff members are available to help students with any issues, whether academic or personal.

    Monroe's counselors proactively reach out to students and maintain strong lines of communication with professors. Additionally, comprehensive orientations and ongoing student programs are designed to help students avoid common pitfalls that can derail the educational experience. 

    International students have another set of concerns, in addition to all the typical challenges that college students face. Those can include visa status, employment requirements and adjustment to a new culture. The Office of Student Services can assist international students with any issues that may arise regarding visa status and employment eligibility, The Office of Student Services is also available to assist with any other personal and/or academic concerns. Open Mon-Thurs from 8:30am – 7:30pm and Fri from 8:30am - 2pm, International Student Services is located in Main Hall on the New Rochelle campus and may be reached at (914) 740-6420.

    • The Health Services staff, located on the New Rochelle campus, is committed to providing caring, competent, compassionate and confidential treatment to our students.
