    Overview of Admissions Proces

    Step 1: Online Application & Personal Essay

    The first step is easy. Apply online with Monroe’s Application for Admission.

    Step 2: Submit Credentials

    Request transcript from your high school counselor. During the application process, unofficial transcripts are acceptable by email. (Official transcripts are required prior to registration.)

    Step 3: Admissions Interview

    We want to get to know YOU better! You will need to schedule an interview with your Admissions Advisor to finalize the admissions process. Your Admissions Advisor’s name and contact information can be found in your personalized application portal.

    Scheduling a Tour

    There’s no better way to see a college than scheduling a campus tour.

    Application Fee

    The undergraduate admissions fee is required of all students. However, Admissions Advisors will make you aware if you are eligible for a specific waiver. Otherwise fees can be processed at submitting payment.


    Monroe College is SAT and ACT optional. Standardized test scores will be taken into consideration for specific academic scholarship and merit-based opportunities.

    Financial Aid

    Many of our students receive some form of financial assistance from merit-based scholarships to government grants and loans. During your admissions interview, a Monroe Admissions Advisor will guide you through the financial aid process. The FAFSA is available as of October 1, 2019.
